Brenda Clark, Regional Marketing Executive

After living most of her life in Charlotte, N.C., Brenda, along with her husband, Ed, moved to North Myrtle Beach where, in her position as Sales and Marketing Director of the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce & CVB, she was instrumental in launching their first Visitors Guide. Brenda puts her more than 40 years of experience and knowledge of the printing and graphics field, coupled with her educational background in sales and marketing, to work on publications that have included Community Guides for Brunswick County Chamber, Georgetown County Chamber, Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber, Little River Chamber, North Myrtle Beach Chamber, Tri-County Regional Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Guides for Columbus County Tourism, Georgetown County Tourism Management Commission (Hammock Coast), Wilmington and Beaches CVB as well as numerous other client publications for the real estate sales and development market, Economic Development, County and City Government and more. Heath Slapikas, Director of Web Development

Heath Slapikas has had over 25 years of experience as a leader in marketing. He has led the process of integrating digital media into the print world within multiple organizations. As director of Advertising for the Brunswick News, he worked in this capacity to plan and redesign their interactive technology, converting all print media to interactive and digital. Heath worked with a team to redesign the website and offer website options to all their advertising clients. With a Marketing Degree from the University of Alabama, Heath entered the media industry in 1999. He served as the Director of Niche Publications in Columbus, Georgia for over eight years before being hired as the Regional Sales Manager in Savannah for Savannah Morning News and Morris Communications.
