Stephen Hefner, Creative Director
Stephen has been leading the creative team at 365 Degree Total Marketing for 10 years. His role as Creative Director gives him the responsibility for evaluation and overseeing the direction of design for all of our publications, websites, branding projects, specialty products and more. Quality control is Stephen's emphasis, including selecting the highest quality photography, monitoring details on layouts, and ensuring that all design elements are treated consistently. Holding a degree in graphic design from the University of Georgia, Stephen brings more than 20 years of experience in graphic design and creative direction in print/digital interactive publishing and marketing. He moved to the coast from Canton, Ga. In his spare time, Stephen is often seen tooling around the Golden Isles in his Mustang.
Daniel Thompson, Production Manager/Graphic Designer
Daniel graduated from the Portfolio Center in Atlanta with an emphasis in Art Direction. His experience includes advertising, photography, graphic design and management, and his role as production manager ensures that projects are scheduled with plenty of time to perfect the visual messaging. As graphic designer, Daniel is involved in ad design, map layout, publications and more. He is the primary designer of maps produced by 365 Degree Total Marketing and has become quite expert at working with community G.I.S. departments to ensure map accuracy. Daniel has worked with 365 Degree Total Marketing for 5 years. He has worked in Thailand, Hawaii and the metro Atlanta area. He now resides on St. Simons Island with his wife and two children. Away from work, Daniel enjoys photography and spending time with his family.
Robert Weems, Photographer/Graphic Designer
Robert comes to 365 Degree Total Marketing with a degree in Art, Graphic Design, Photography and Painting from LaGrange College. He always keeps the clients' vision in mind when designing and producing advertisements and layouts for 365's publications. Prior to joining the 365 team, Robert has designed products and items for clients including Michael Jackson, the NBA and the Jonas Brothers. As a photographer, Robert excels at photographing communities to showcase what makes each one unique. He is also a retired member of the U.S. Navy. In his spare time, Robert loves being outdoors- biking, hiking and kayaking. He also enjoys photography and flying. Robert hopes to get his private pilot license soon.
Melanie Schmermund, Graphic Designer
Melanie Schmermund is the newest graphic designer to join the 365 team. Having earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in graphic design from Auburn University and with 10 years of magazine design experience under her belt, our clients are lucky to have her! In her spare time, Melanie stays active by playing soccer, running in mud runs and obstacle races, and she has recently completed the Spartan Trifecta, which is an incredible accomplishment! She also enjoys going to beach, watching movies, listening to live music, and spending time with Littlebit, the cutest Chihauhau ever and the new mascot of 365 Degree Total Marketing!
Bob Swinehart, Graphic Designer
Bob comes to 365 Degree Total Marketing with over 35 years of experience in the print/publishing field. He worked for both commercial printers and magazines in the 17 years he spent in the Atlanta area after attending Indiana University, Bloomington, where he studied commercial art. In 2000, he moved to St. Simons Island to work for The Brunswick News, where he was editor and art director of their bi-weekly publication, Coastal Illustrated. Bob resides on St. Simons Island with his wife, Duane, and has a daughter, Savannah. Bob enjoys anything outdoors, with biking, hiking and kayaking among his many hobbies. When he's not designing at work, Bob loves to create art through both woodworking and painting.
Michelle Holton, Videographer/Photographer
Michelle Holton graduated from Lindenwood University in St. Louis, Missouri with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Digital Cinema Arts before moving back to her home state of Georgia and joining the 365 team. Michelle brings with her five years of videography and editing experience as well as experience writing, producing, and directing several short films. Michelle recently got married and loves to spend time with her husband, as well as go bowling, watch movies, play Xbox, and enjoy the occasional nap in her free time.
