Taking Coweta County Beyond Full Circle Marketing

Key Challenges

Located on the southwest side of Atlanta, Coweta County’s geographic location was once perceived as a negative factor for the area. While north of Atlanta, Gwinnett, Fulton, and Cobb Counties were experiencing rapid growth in population and business, Coweta County grew at a more relaxed pace.

Critical Insight

Being located on the southwest side of Atlanta in an area that was merely a gateway to the glamorous skyscraper capital of the South was originally thought of as a problem that Coweta County couldn’t overcome. However, through a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) analysis, we unveiled strengths including proximity to state highways and Interstate 85, developable land, infrastructure, and a location only 20 miles from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, all of which pointed to future prosperity and a new catchy tagline.

Actual Brand Identity/Positioning Statement

Coweta County is now known as “Prosperity’s Front Door,” a city that stands on its own as a place where businesses, families, and professionals prosper and have all the attributes in place to ensure future growth. The location, which was once perceived as a negative, was positioned into a positive by welcoming everyone to Atlanta as the front door to future prosperity. Two logos were developed for the Coweta County Chamber of Commerce and “Prosperity’s Front Door,” both of which feature red, blue, gray—colors that evoke energy, dynamic force, passion, strength, confidence, and loyalty. Since, we have developed countless marketing pieces including marketing campaigns, banners, postcards, banners, and more emblazoned with the booming county’s creed “Prosperity’s Front Door.”
